AI lets us develop symbiotic ideas at scale: the search for patterns, interfaces and solution options becomes technologically accessible across business, democracy and every part of life. Whether and how we seize this opportunity, as individuals, public authorities or companies, matters just as much as choosing not to.
Research at the intersection of AI, the state and democracy
I research and teach how artificial intelligence changes the way the state acts, and how a democratic state stays both effective and true to its values.
In the research project DEAR-GOV (Democracy-Enhancing AI for Resilient Government) I study how AI strengthens public administration and democratic institutions, and how hybrid threats can be detected early.
In talks and impulses I translate this into clear decisions: where AI creates real value, where it needs accountability, and how the state and organisations stay in control.
And for companies and development teams it gets concrete too: applied AI, vibe coding and automation that make a real difference day to day.
