As we hypothesize, that data skills will matter for almost all jobs in future, the question arises, which skills are really fundamental but at the same time teachable to non-technical/non-mathematical staff.
For this purpose, we are going to match data science skills from to sources: First, we will utilize skills described in job vacancies. For this purpose, we wrote and ran a crawler on a public job platform. Second, we will include real life data from experts on the social network Xing. Both will enable us to draw a picture of clearly needed, major data skills.
Later on, we are going to summarize our findings in something what we call “The DataScience Cookbook”.
